Welcome to my practice
I am Minishka, an Educational Psychologist providing assessment, therapeutic support, and counselling services. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand emotional, learning, and developmental needs, offering a safe and compassionate space where each individual feels heard, respected, and supported.
My approach is person-centred, individualised, and strengths-based, focusing on understanding each individual holistically within the context of their environment. Interventions are tailored to each individual’s unique needs and guided by evidence-based practice, with close collaboration between caregivers, schools, and other professionals where appropriate.

I offer a range of psychological services to support children, adolescents, young adults, and families, including individual therapy and counselling, family therapy, school readiness assessments, comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, career guidance and career assessments, subject choice guidance, and accommodation assessments to support learners in accessing appropriate academic support.

An assessment is a structured evaluation designed to understand learning, cognitive, emotional, or career-related functioning. Assessments result in a detailed report with recommendations to guide support at home and school..
Sessions are claimed directly from medical aids, depending on your plan and available benefits. Guidance regarding claims and required documentation is provided to help make the process as smooth as possible.
